This one-time trial lesson is designed for students who have completed the Cultural Introduction to Senchado and wish to take their first step into hands-on practice.
You will handle the delicate Senchaki—the small teaware unique to Senchado—and learn the basic movements used in Ogasawara-ryu Senchado.
Lesson Flow
With gentle guidance, you will prepare tea step by step.
Students learn how to measure tea leaves, cool water, pour with care, and serve with composure.
After brewing, we reflect on the experience and discuss the next steps for study.
